The 2010 model year BMW 6 Series gets a significant equipment update for the on-board navigation system, and customers can take advantage of new offerings from BMW Individual, including BMW Individual Full Merino Leather, BMW Individual Paintwork, and BMW Individual Trim.
Exterior
For 2010, the BMW 6 Series does not get any exterior changes; the sleek, distinctive lines remain unchanged. The 650i models include luminescent corona rings around the headlights giving it that distinctive BMW look and feel.
Interior
The 6 Series has the typical BMW interior, power everything, most of the interior not covered in wood or metal trim pieces are covered in your choice or two different kinds of leather, for a small fee of course.
Performance & Handling
The BMW 6 Series base V-8 produces 360 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque and the 6 Series' exhaust system is specially engineered to lend the V-8 engine a sporty note. The M6 gets the potent V-10 delivering 500 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. BMW's seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual DCT gearbox is standard, while the six-speed manual is a no cost option.
Safety
The 2010 BMW M6 comes standard with multilevel stability control, antilock disc brakes and front-seat side airbags. Side curtain airbags are fitted to the coupe, the convertible gets automatic rollover hoops. Front and rear parking sensors are also part of the 6 Series safety package.
